This thematic meeting of the GDR MEETICC aims to bring together the large community of researchers in solid state physics and chemistry, both experimentalists and theoreticians, who are working on problems related to magnetism. The meeting is supported by the Priority Research Program SPIN.
In view of the current challenges facing magnetism, the conference will be structured around 4 themes:
4. Nanomagnetism techniques and large instruments: Near-field probes, neutron scattering, intense magnetic fields, synchrotron spectroscopy, etc.
Each theme will be given a half-day of presentations and discussions, including two invited presentations and four contributed papers. These four thematic sessions will be supplemented by two poster sessions, which will broaden the scope of the discussions and give as many participants as possible the opportunity to present their work.
The Best Poster will be awarded an SFP prize.
Presentations, abstracts and posters will be in English.
The meeting will take place from 16 to 18 October 2024 at the European Doctoral College, on the central campus of the University of Strasbourg.
